Pakistan’s Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan in Bollywood: Ban will never be lifted?

Taking after the understanding, the contention over the film smothered yet the restriction on Pakistani craftsmen Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan proceeds.

MNS Boss Shalini Thackeray elucidated that the understanding applies to just three motion pictures. "They had talked about and determined three films and it applies to them including Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Raees and a motion picture called Dear Zindagi and nothing past this," she said.

"We made it clear that we needed a perpetual prohibition on Pakistani artistes, professionals and vocalists. We will guarantee that no movie producer works with Pak artistes later on, regardless of the possibility that the relations between the two nations move forward. It is not auspicious or intermittent, it will be everlastingly and we will guarantee that it is agreed to," DNA cited her as saying.

Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil kept running into inconvenience for having Pakistani performer Fawad Khan on board while Shah Rukh Khan's Raees has Mahira Khan and Dear Zindagi highlights Ali Zafar.
